BRIEF: Mental illness is focus of conference

April 20--A day-long conference in Tucson Friday will focus on faith communities and mental illness.

The conference, hosted by Interfaith Community Services, is set for 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway. The conference will be led by noted national and local experts who will encourage discussion, exchange ideas and share real-life stories from people who have journeyed through mental health challenges.

The cost is $40 for each single registrant and $30 each for groups of two or more registrants.
